The nominal gasket size extends up to Ø DN 5000 or more, depending on which production technology is used: injection moulding (IM), compression moulding (CM), or extrusion/splicing.

Materials

Rubber materials EPDM, SBR, NBR, special rubber compounds such as FKM, CR, etc. and special types of plastic materials such as TPE, TPV, TPU, etc. are selected based on the application usage. The materials and gaskets fulfil the relevant pipe sealing standards and specifications such as DIN EN-681, DIN EN-682, DIN 4060, FBS QR4060, DVGW, KIWA, etc.

Certifications/Approvals/Inspections

Semperit pipe gaskets are subject to various specifications based on the specific application. We cover the following certification areas:

  • Drinking water certifications (UBA elastomer guideline, W270, WRAS, ACS, KIWA ATA, Belgaqua, AS/NZS 4020, etc.)
  • Food safety certifications (BfR, FDA, etc.)
  • We also offer third-party inspections by institutions such as DVGW, MPA, TÜV, KIWA, etc.
