CONTINUOUS PRODUCT INNOVATION THROUGH R&D
Research and development is an important factor in our success. As one of the leading manufacturers of engineered rubber items, we have the necessary know-how to develop products in-house. Our technology is ideally suited for the production of handrails.
We use our extensive polymer knowledge for the benefit of our customers. A fully equipped technological laboratory in Europe and a team of experienced specialists ensure that we deliver state-of-the-art products. All handrails are continually subjected to dynamic tests on one of our numerous test rigs. Our Semperit test centres are located in Austria and China. We use FE simulation, injection moulding simulation and advanced material and product testing methods.
We also have an in house R&D department sited in Austria which constantly develops new products to cater to our customer requirements in the polymer sectors. From the initial idea, the first sketch to series production we – achieve long-term benefits for everyone involved.
